Problem ExtractPreviews on Lightroom classic 13.3

Hello,

Since the new update Lightroom classic 13.3, the script ExtractPreviews doesn't work. I have put the new ExtractPreviews.lua, but I have always the same message : "Failed to extrac or write the preview for x photos - this may be because no preview was available or an error occured while writing the preview to the destination".

Have you a resolution ?

The problem is solved. In reality, the script ExtractPreviews.lua, in the french version on adobe site, is wrong. I have loaded the script on the US version, and now it is working !

It looks like the ExtractPreviews script wasn't actually updated to handle the new preview-cache format introduced in LR 13.3. I filed a bug report:

As a workaround, try this plugin, which is much more capable:

LR 13.3 changed how it stored previews in the catalog folder. Have you updated to the most recent version of the script that Adobe claims works with LR 13.3?

Also, this plugin has been updated to work with LR 13.3:

The plugin provides more capabilities than the Adobe script.

To clarify: You did say "I have put the new ExtractPreviews.lua". But double-check by deleting the current ExtractPreviews.lua from the Scripts folder, redownloading it from the Adobe Help page, and copying it to the Scripts folder. Then restart LR. Just now I was able to use the script to extract a couple hundred previews.
