Problem Syncing Presets in LrC

I'm having an issue with a preset syncing in Lightroom Classic (Mac, Ventura).  The preset will apply to one image, but won't sync to multiple images.  It does appear as if each image has been modified when using the sync button, but when I click on the images individually, the preset isn't added.  I've tried to re-import this particular preset with no luck.  The preset does work if I manually add it to each image, but my folders are large and this is time consuming.  Any suggestions/help are appreciated!
