Problem with importing

Question

HiPC user that uses LR 5.7.1. Up until today "Import" has worked fine, regardless if it is from Camera, phone or folders on the computer hard drive. Today, when trying to import it just freezes. For an example, when trybning to import from my phone, no pictures are showing and it says "There are no pictures". At the same time the "Import" button is not active. I haven't changed any settings in LR or upgraded windows. Any tips & tricks how reset import and make it work again?BR/Fredrik

Is the Destination folder on the right hand side present and expanded?

Is "There are no pictures" the exact wording of the message LR gives you? Or are there some other words? (Please quote the exact message).
