Problem with running Lightroom Classic 11.3.1 in max screen then using Command-E to launch edit PS

I'm running MacOS 12.3.1 and Lightroom Classic 11.3.1 and when i have lightroom maximized for full screen and use Command-E to edit the photo in PS, PS opens with screen partially off monitor and photo window is seperated. I have to move it into the editing window. If I run lightroom not maximized window and not on seperate desktop in mac it does not do this.

Sorry, I am unable to reproduce this.

What key stroke are you using to go to full screen?

Do you have a second monitor attached?

Sorry, I use the green dot in the top left hand bar to maximize the screen for my photo work in lightroom. No I am not using a second monitor or is it attached. Then when I select a photo to edit in PS using Command-E, the PS screen is not aligned to my desktop and the photo is also not aligned to PS desktop.

I can duplicate this on my machine upon demand.

When I return LRC back to normal screen config with apple menu at top of screen and use Command-E to edit in PS, alignment is not an issue, PS opens correctly for editing the photo.

Thanks for the very quick response on this.

Please let me know if there are any further answers or actions I can take to help fix this.

I tried a single monitor using the Green Dot to invoke LrC full screen and got the same result - PS opens where I last left it. I am unable to reproduce.

You could try resetting both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop's preference files,

This procedure works for both Lightroom Classic and Lightroom Desktop.

If you are using Lightroom Desktop it can change the location of your local storage. Please review this setting after resetting preferences.

Reset Procedure:

1. Close Lightroom.

2. Hold down [Alt/Opt]+[Shift] while restarting Lightroom.

3. Overwrite the Preferences when prompted by the dialog.

4. Close Lightroom.

5. Restart Lightroom.

to clarify here is screen shot of PS after edit showing the misaligned screens. It happens without being on seperate desktop window on Mac.
