Problem with synchro LR classic to LR

Hello,
I have an issue with the synchronization from LR Classic to LR.
I finished processing my photos in LR Classic, and usually I put them in a collection to sync with LR. This time, in “Local Activity” it says that some photos are still being synchronized (including photos from other collections), but the sync is stuck at 254 photos and won’t move forward. I tried deleting one or two photos to restart the sync, but it didn’t work.

In addition, when I open LR, it now tells me there is an error in my local catalog… Could you please help me? I’m getting a bit desperate.

Manually click the Sync button in Lightroom Classic and ensure a stable network connection.

Just checking in to see if you're still running into that issue. Let me know when you get a chance!

 

If you do, in Lightroom can you try clicking the filter icon at the top and selecting Sync Status > Syncing. Select all the images and apply a flag ort star rating. Let me know how it goes!

But my problem is with Lightroom Classic and to with Lightroom !

Hi @quentin_3970!
Could you try removing the affected photos from your collection and then adding them back? That often helps get the sync moving again.

Hey, @quentin_3970. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.  Are you certain which images, or collections/albums, are impacted? 

 

Lightroom Classic does not directly sync to the Lightroom desktop; you'll have to check Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4eF2E7u). 

 

If nothing changes after some time, check Lightroom Web (https://adobe.ly/4eF2E7u) and look for the Deleted Section and the Sync issues tab (if they exist). Emptying both of these has helped in the past. Before emptying these tabs, please ensure you have backups for the images.

 

After this change, let Lightroom sync and check if it returns to normal.

Thank you for trying to solve my problem!
I went to Lightroom Web as you suggested, and indeed there were about 120 files in the sync issues tab. I deleted them, and then also cleared them from the Deleted folder.
But the problem remains — I still have 258 photos pending, see attached screenshot…
