Florent

The only thing you can try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html

If you really have installed the 6.0 version of LR I would say install the latest update to version 6.14, but...

I think it isn't possible because LR 6 isn't compatibpe with your MacOS version and the installation program is only a 32bit-program and this doesn't run under Mojave.

To work properly with Lightroom in the future it's recommend to change to the recent Lightroom version. You have to buy a subscription or, in case you don't like the subscription you have to change to Photoshop Elements.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

Thank you Axel,

I tried to uncheck the "Use Graphic Processor" but it didn't change.

Disabling the display options solved my issue ... For now. I'll consider going to a subscription mode.

Warmly
Florent

I have a strange problem with lightroom 6.0

Photos are normally displayed in the library, but with a large white band in the development module.

It really bothers me for the treatment (almost 1/3 of the screen is unusable).

I'm on a 2015 MacBook pro with Monterey at 12.6.7

If you have an idea thank you very much, I have a big treatment to do and I'm a little stuck

I'm guessing that this is the Info overlay, that is displaying on a white background.

The background should be transparent, but is displaying white because LR 6 is not supported on your operating system.

To get rid of it, press Cmd + I on your keyboard.

If you want to keep working with LR 6, do not uninstall it. You will not be able to install it again.

Hi Per Berntsen,

Thank you for your answer. It's working ! I was not aware of compatibility issues with LR6 and Monterey.

Anyway, thank you so much, I'll move on with my photos development

I might then move to a subscription mode.

Warmly.

Florent
