Bonjour,

je viens de m'abonner à la version d'essai de LrC et je n'arrive pas à ouvrir mes anciens catalogues LR6 avec la toute dernière version de LrC.  Est ce que quelqu'un à déjà rencontré ce problème?

merci pour votre aide

Make sure you have granted “Full Disk access to Lightroom Classic” in your macOS preferences.

I granted LrC full disk access and tried to open the LR6 catalogue.  Result is the same: LrC keeps spinning and system says "not responding"

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs.

What happens when you try to open the Lr 6 catalog in LrC? Please describe in detail. If there is an error message, then please quote the exact unedited word-for-word error message (even if it is not in English).

when I swith catalogue and try to open my old LR6 catalogue from LrC, the system hangs.  There is no error message.  I am using a MacBookAir M2.  The LR6 catalogue containts 10'000 pictures so I don't know if it is LrC that takes time to convert the cataloque or if it just does not work....

Lightroom Classic will specifically ask if you want to upgrade your Lr 6 catalog and you have to click on "Upgrade". If that does not happen, then it is not taking time to convert the catalog.

When you say "the system hangs", does this mean your entire computer stops working and then you have to re-start the computer? Or does it mean LrC hangs and the rest of the computer continues to operate normally?
