Problems with Catalog

Hi 

this is now the second time, that a catalog get screwed up.

If I load this particular catalog, I cannot use the development module.

Also, I cannot change the target collection.

The only solution so far it to go back to last backup, so far.

Quite annoying.

What could be the prohblem, and ist there a solution for this problem?
