Problems with importing images

Hello everyone,

I am new to Adobe and am having trouble importing images.  Can someone help?

I am going through the correct procedures by going to the Library page and selecting the import botton at the bottom of the screen.  At that point I am at the next page which is asking me to select the source for the images.  I select the folder that I want and it brings up all of the images in that folder already checked to be imported.  However, I don't want to import all of them so I select the deselect all images button at the bottom of the page and it does that.  However, when I try to pick an image then it only highlights the image but it doesn't check it and won't let me import it.

Can someone please help me?

Clicking on the image will not cause the image to be checked. Clicking on the check box causes the image to be checked.

Thanks for the reply.  As I stated, I am a beginner to Photoshop so it all is a bit overwhelming.

I got my presets from Kelvin Designs so when I first followed the steps that they gave me that didn't work, they gave me a different method and it worked fine.  Still, importing is an ongoing concern so I will be sure and check out your video!

Thank you so much for passing that along.  I just signed up on the site and downloaded the Quick Start Book.

Thank you so much for your response.  I figured that out shortly after I posted this.  It's funny though.  I contacted Adobe three times and no one gave me that answer.
