Problems with LR 6 importing MP4 video files after latest upgrade

I have been using Lightroom since 1.1  I am now on LR6

Since the latest upgrade I can no longer Import my MP4 video files taken with my Canon 1DX. I have been back into my previous files and cannot load previously unused MP4 files either. The common factor seems to be the latest upgrade!!!

Problem solved (by my wife!!!!!)

Switch off lightroom and load it again. I'm not going to live this down am I?????

You can revert LR to an earlier version by following these instructions.

Just replace the reference to .1.1 to .8
