Problems with the exported photos in lightroom classic

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently run into an issue with photos exported from Lightroom Classic. The skies in the images are getting ruined, making the photos unusable.

I use Lightroom constantly, and I need the photos for my work.

Do you have any suggestions for fixing this?

Lightroom Classic version: 15.0.1

Operating system: Windows 11

I’m attaching two example photos so you can see the problem. Thank you so much for your help!

The banding in the sky is jpg compression artifacts, caused by using a too low quality setting when exporting.

Smooth areas like clear blue skies are very prone to banding, and require a high quality setting to render properly.

Exporting at quality 85 should fix the issue. Going higher than 85 is not likely to improve the quality, but it will increase the file size.
