Processed photos move to end of filmstrip

Good morning.

I process RAW photos on Lightroom Classic. When I edit photos they are moved to the end of the film strip, instead of staying next to the original photo in the film strip. This means I have to page back to where i was to look at the next photo for processing.

This is probably something quite simple, but I cant seem to be able to work it out.

I would appeciate someones help please.

Check that the 'Sort Order', which can be found on the toolbar above the Library filmstrip is set to something like Capture Time or File Name, not custom.
