Hi

I am having problems with the Profile Browser. I created some profiles with ColorChecker Camera Calibrations a while back, imported them into lightroom and it worked very well. But after an update the profiles I created have disappeared.

I see them in the profiles folder in finder. I tried removing them from the folder and than reinstall them but with no luck. (Restarted and evrything is up to date)

I am using a mac and Big Sure and the newst verision of Lightroom and Photoshop.

Any ideas?

I found out what I was doing wrong. The profile I created was created for another camera body. I thought I could use the profile for this camera too but now I understand it is only for the camera you create the profile for. Thanks everybody for your help!!

Some file structure has changed, but it was not supposed to hose up existing files,

even so, have you tried to reimport them?

Have you changed default setting as to store presets with catalog? And if so, are you in a different catalog?

You stated, “ I created some profiles with ColorChecker Camera Calibrations a while back, imported them into lightroom and it worked very well.“

Ok thanks for the additional info, I do not normally work with ColorChecker Camera Profiles but I am aware there have been some changes over the past couple of years and that's why I requested additional info. I am sure other users will offer assistance with the procedure to follow to update the Profiles.

I am using Lightroom classic version 10.4. I am not sure if this problem came after the latest update or earlier because this is a feature I rarely use.

Using a MacBook Pro, 15-inch, 2018, running maxOS Big Sure v. 11.5.2.

You stated “ But after an update the profiles I created have disappeared. “

Please provide specific and relevant info, include the following.

The version number of Lightroom you were using prior to upgrading and the actual version number you have installed presently.

Also needed the version number of macOS you have installed.
