Profiles Missing in Lightroom Classic 2025

I have been working with presets for years and just recently within the last week or so I updated my LrC to the latest version. Once I did that I did not work on any images so I felt like everything was fine. Although once I came back from a sesssion I uploaded the images and started adding some presets I noticed the color was different from preset once i copied and paste it and what was even more frustraiting was when I used some of my favorite BW presets. they were not being shown as BW they were muted colored images, then when I applied a preset I noticed the Profile it should have shifted too, was missing.

Yes, images are RAW, and I have tried adding them via little icon on the Profile Browser. It says the proflies have been uploaded already. I have removed the index.dat that another forum recommeneded and still nothing.

In my previous versions even in an older computer I still use, teh profile browser does show a "profiles" folder in the list of Profiles available.

Any insight on getting this fixed would be appreciate it.

what I found was helpful was: go to the back-end folders and identify which folder has your profiles, then if there is nothing there add the profiles not the presets. This may help.

Bonjour,

Depuis quelques semaines mes presets VSCO (que j'utilise depuis des années) se sont grisés dans la barre des preset mais j'arrive tout de même à les appliquer sur la photo (même quand j'exporte la photo ils sont bien appliqués) mais sur ma barre à droite il y a marqué profil manquant ce qui m'empêche la synchronisation.

Je les ai supprimé, importé de nouveau , j'ai tenté de faire quelques petites modifications du preset de base et l'enregistrer en tant que preset de l'utilisateur mais ça ne marche pas.

Je ne sais plus quoi faire... merci pour votre aide.

Hey, @magali_0780, & @Manuel_Rascon. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. For now, I've moved the post to discussions and will move it back to bugs if needed. Has this started to happen since the v15.1 release of Lightroom Classic that was released yesterday?

What specific camera & RAW files are you working on? Could you share a few sample profiles & RAW files to help verify this?

I did notice this saturday when I went to copy and paste an image from original to bw from another image. Once I pasted the settings it was missing the bw setting and the image became dull.
