PSE 2019 as External Editor in LR 6.14

I installed PSE 2019 on my PC.  I am using LR 6.14.

PSE 2019 shows as the primary external editor in LR 6.14.

The first try worked fine.  Selected a photo, selected photo -> Edit in -> PSE Editor 2019.  PSE Editor opened along with the photo.  Made a few edits selected Save.  Editor closed and took me back to LR just fine.

Second photo ... PSE editor opens but the photo will not load.

Any ideas why this is not working?

    This is a question for the Lightroom Classic forum, not Lightroom. I'm moving the post over to Classic.

    This doesn't have anything to do with "Lightroom Classic" or ANY OTHER  subscription versions of Lightroom - it is about Lightroom 6.14!!

    Are you choosing to open with Lightroom edits?

    What are your LR preference settings e.g. PSD/Tif 8 bits

    16 bit files have limited possibilities in Elements

    To be clear tell us what version of Lightroom you have installed. Go to:

    Help >> System info

    Yes - open with LR edits and tiff 8 bits

    Should work if you have the pse editor app selected and not the hub ‘home screen’
