Publish to Flickr Groups

I am using the Flickr Publishing plug-in with LR6 to publish my pictures to Flickr. It works great adding tags etc.

My question today is, is it possible to add my pictures to a Flickr Group automatically from within LR? I find it time consuming to go into each picture on Flickr to add it to a group. Is there an automated way to do this?

Thanks

I do not believe the built LR Publish service for Flickr has that capability but Jeffery Friedl's Publish service for Flickr does:

Jeffrey Friedl's Blog » Jeffrey’s “Export to Flickr” Lightroom Plugin

You can auto publish to Flickr from Lightroom Classic by using the Smart Collections.   I have a dozed or more folders simalarly names each year differing only by the year.  IE, 2022 Lake Michigan and then 2023 Lake Michigan.  Then my Smart Collection entitled Moods of Lake Michigan (the same title as my Flicker Album) captures all images rated 4 Stars or above in a folder with Lake Michigan in the Title.   If I post and rate 25 images in a setting in multiple Lightroom folders in my hard drive, appropriately rated images in selected  folders are auto routed to LR Smart Collections.  Then when I Puglish, all new images are auto published into the appropreate Album in Flickr.   This has been working faultlessly for years until two weeks ago.  .

Unfortunately, a fault occurred the last time I updated LR and Photoshop, and LR refused to publish.  This was corrected, however , now the images in my Smart Collections changed, so my Photo Stream in Flicr changed. I have been asking the LR community the reason this occurred. No answer todate.   Gray Drake
