Quick solution to solve the problème of Lightroom classic language with Midi2LR and Loupedeck
Hello,
I have find this solution to solve the the problème of Lightroom classic language with Midi2LR and Loupedeck.
I have test this solution with French language on Windows.
First of all make a backup of the original language file "TranslatedStrings_Lr_xx_XX.txt"
1 / Open our language file "TranslatedStrings_Lr_xx_XX.txt" in the "C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe Lightroom Classic CC \ Resources \ xx" directory with the notepad. (xx is the abreviation of your language: fr for french...etc)
2 / Click on "Edit" then "Select all" then "copy"
3 / Paste this text in Microsoft Word (I have version 2010 but it should work with other versions)
4 / Without modifying the text in Word remake a "select all" then "copy"
5 / Open a blank page in the notepad and paste the text you just copied from Wold.
6 / Save this page by giving it the same name as the Lightroom language file "TranslatedStrings_Lr_xx_XX.txt"
7 / Finally replace the file "TranslatedStrings_Lr_xx_XX.txt" in the "C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe Lightroom Classic CC \ Resources \ xx" directory with the file you just created.
