R opens the Crop tool fine, but pressing R again to exit shows the Delete Photo dialog instead of closing the Crop tool. No custom shortcut found for R. Reproducible every time.

If you have a problem like this, then:

A: Post in ‘Questions’, not in ‘Bugs’. Not every problem is a bug, and in fact most problems are not bugs. The ‘Bugs’ section is for confirmed bugs only. Your post will be moved by a moderator if it turns out to be a bug.

B: Give full details about your system, your OS and Lightroom Classic. Give version numbers, do not use words like ‘latest’.

I tried to reproduce your problem in Lightroom Classic 15.4.1 on my M1 Max Mac running MacOS 26.5.2, but I can’t. The ‘R’ Key works as it should. Pressing it brings me into the Cropt Tool, pressing it again closes the Crop Tool again.
