Random changes to my edits happening!

I've recently started to have some strange things happening in my Lightroom CC editing.  I'll move a slider (say clarity) up a few notches.  Then I'll move on to shadows and move that--then my clarity slider randomly goes up or down to almost maximum!  This has also happened as I switch to another section of editing.  I'm doing nothing different than I have previously and am using the most recent update.  It is getting annoying since I keep having to go back and check to make sure nothing has randomly changed!  Has anyone else had this problem?
