Range Mask and white fringing
Using Range Mask Color or Luminance with either the Graduated Filter or Adjustment brush to separate sky from foreground to separately adjust the sky/foreground will produce a narrow white fringe on dark foreground edges. This happens on DNG or NEF’s.
Before applying either the Graduated Filter or the Adjustment Brush I’ve tried using the Zeroed Preset and selected Remove Chromatic Aberration. The Amount slider in Range Mask Color will partially reduce the fringe but only with too much edge shift. Range Mask Luminance sliders reduce some fringe but add other artifacts.
I'd like to make these adjustments in LR - masking/refine edge is a chore so any suggestions are welcome.
