In Lightroom CC, how do I duplicate an edited raw file for transfer to a flashdrive or a remote source through DropBox?

Export a new file, and choose Original under File settings > Image format in the Export dialog.

The edits will be in an XMP file with the same name as the image, and this file needs to accompany the image.

It's more convenient to export as DNG, which embeds the edits in the file header with no need for an XMP file.

The image part of the DNG file is identical to the original raw file, the raw data is not changed in any way, and there is no quality loss.

Note that in both cases, edits will only be visible in Adobe applications – Lightroom or Camera Raw/Photoshop.
