Raw files not recognized #188 [Canon 1DX Mark II]

Trying to download my Pics an error message appears that the raw files are not recognized, says t o update software but when I do it says I don't have internet connection...but i do.  When I first downloaded Lightroom I had these problems after 4 hours on the phone and texting we finally fixed the problem. Now it's happening again. EOS-1DX Mark ll Camera

    Cameras supported by Camera Raw

    First supported in Lightroom 6.5.

    Which version are you running?

    If Lightroom 6, update to 6.9.

    If Lightroom CC, update to 2015.9 (equivalent to 6.9 for camera support)?
