Red eye reduction tool cannot recognize a red eye... what to do

    Apparently there isn't enough red in that eye for Lightroom to detect the color to correct. On my monitor, I'm able to see more red in the other eye, but I see very little (if any) in the one that you have chosen to fix. But then, maybe I'm colorblind.

    Thanks for a swift answer!

    You are correct in your assumption, though that is not my concern.

    I did the right eye, it was easy and no hassle.

    I cannot do the left eye though.

    The attached images are in the wrong order.

    The top image is the error message I get.

    The bottom image shows the right eye (Which I did prior to the operation, and the left eye which is encircled)

    I don't know. The crosshair on the left eye is not centered on the area containing the red. That would be my only observation. Having dealt with a lot of redeye.
