remove tool doesn't do anything

Hello,

In the past few days, I have happily used the new AI remove tool in Lightroom Classic.

Today I launched the app and worked on new images, and the same tool does nothing.

The red blob appears, I click apply, after a few seconds... nothing. I can even cycle through the three alternatives, but they are all "transparent", invisibile.

I have just updated Lightroom because there was a "critical"issue resolved, and I hoped it was this, but... nope.
