Repeated Corrupt Catalogs

I have Windows 10 Pro and Lightroom Classic 14.5 installed.
I've been experiencing system instability issues since early 2025.
Lightroom has corrupted my catalogs and is almost impossible to work with, because the error appears just 10 seconds after opening it.
There's no time to load the photos into the gallery.
Sometimes the catalog lasts a little longer.
But then it crashes when I try to import photos.
Or it crashes when I open the print module.
The errors are constant, and I can't find a way to resolve them.
I've uninstalled Lightroom to install previous versions, and it didn't work.
I've formatted my PC to rule out operating system installation errors or possible driver errors.
I've installed the latest version of all the drivers for my computer.
However, Lightroom still crashes.
I've opened my catalogs using the "catalog integrity check" option, but Lightroom doesn't detect any errors.
However, once the catalog is launched, it causes a crash error again.
After each error, Lightroom asks to check system compatibility, and the report is always correct.
I need your help, please.
I also need help extracting the information from my corrupted catalog into a new catalog, because backups won't open in Lightroom, and it's incredibly disastrous to have lost my entire catalog of photographic work.

Traducción al Castellano
Tengo instalados Windows 10 Pro y Lightroom Classic 14.5.

Lightroom has corrupted my catalogs and is almost impossible to work with, because the error appears just 10 seconds after opening it.

Do you actually get an error message about catalog corruption? (I can't open any file attachments here, from you or from anyone else)

If so, this is almost always caused by hardware malfunction, and most likely it is your hard disk that is having problems. Try placing the catalog file on a different disk to see if that helps. Formatting the hard disks (which you said you tried) does not prove there is no hard disk malfunction.

If not, then there are many other possible causes.

Hello.
I have an NVMe SSD for the operating system, another SSD for Lightroom, and other WD Caviar Black HD drives where the photos are stored.
---
I reinstalled Windows on May 1st to rule out the errors being caused by a faulty installation of Windows or Lightroom.
---
When I saw that it wasn't resolved, I bought a new hard drive to replace the one dedicated to Lightroom.
The problems persist.
---
I also started a new catalog from scratch to rule out the errors being solely from my corrupted catalog. But the errors also appear with the new catalog. All I have to do is start importing photos, and the catalog displays errors.
---
I don't know how to test the graphics card to see if the problem could be with it.
---
In 2021, when I bought my 32" BENQ monitor, I had stability issues and had to replace the graphics card.
---
In 2023, I replaced all my hardware (motherboard, processor, and GPU) and since then, the system has always been stable until now, in 2025. With the latest Adobe updates, I've only had issues.
---
Lightroom and Photoshop are the two programs that give me problems and sometimes even crash my computer, forcing me to shut it down via Reset, which is something I should never do. However, I don't know how to get out of a complete computer freeze.
I'd like to know if you're able to see any signs of a graphics card (GPU) failure in the error report.

Hola.

I don't see a specific answer to my question: "Do you actually get an error message about catalog corruption?"

The new drive you bought, is that the drive where the catalog is stored?

There are other possible causes, the hard drive is (in my mind) the most likely. However bad memory chips can also be a cause.

If you want to include screen captures so I can see them, use the "Insert Photos" icon.

Start with this: Go to the Nvidia website and get the latest drivers for your GPU. Use the Studio drivers for your GPU, not the Game Ready drivers.
