Repeated crashes when adding Denoised panoramas to a synced collection
I've experienced repeated crashes of Lightroom Classic. At first I thought they were caused by updating to 14.0. I updated to 14.01, but still experiened crashes. I tried the usual fixes - uninstalling and reinstalling, then deleting preferences, but that did not fix the issue. I tried opening a different catalog, and that worked fine, so I figured the catalog was corrupted. So I reverted to 13.5.1, with the previous catalog, and everything worked fine for awhile. But then it crashed, and again I experienced repeated crashes. In these cases Lightroom would only stay open for, at best, 30 seconds before crashing again, while I was just doing simple things like browsing through images.
In both cases - with 14.0, and 13.5.1 - the issues begain when I added images to a synced collection. After further investigation, I've narrowed it down to two files that cause this issue. Both are DNGs created with the Panorama Merge, which I subsequently (after merging) ran through Denoise. This is one of the new features with 14.0, which I wanted to try on some new aurora photos I made, but they seem to be causing this issue.
I've been able to re-create this issue consistently by adding these two denoised panoramas to a synced collection. Each time I do that, Lightroom Classic crashes within 15 seconds, and will repeatedly crash until I revert to a backup catalog that doesn't have those images in a synced collection. Adding other types of files to a synced collection doesn't cause this issue. Adding those denoised panoramas to a non-synced collection doesn't cause this issue. It only happens when adding those Denoised panoramas to a synced collection.
I'm running a 16-inch MacBook Pro, Nov. 2023, Apple M3 Max, Sonoma 14.6.1, 96 GB RAM.
