Reselect previous photos after switching folders in lightroom

Do you want LR to remember the last selected photos for each folder, so that as you go back to a folder, that selection is restored?  Many people have asked for that feature: Lightroom: Remember last image selected in each folder | Photoshop Family Customer Community . Please add your me-too vote and details of why you want that to the feature request, which in a small way will make it a little more likely Adobe might implement it.   Meanwhile, you could try the Any Source plugin, which provides "back" and "forward" commands for going back to previous source, selection, and filter settings -- if you switch to a folder, work on that, and then do "back", the previous folder or collection will be selected along with the photo selection and filter settings.
