Restoring PS edits in LR

PLEASE HELP! Long story short, my hard drive that was less than 5 months old, stopped connecting (yes I’ve tried all the things you’re thinking off. Even taken it multiple places And no One can save my data. I was in the middle of editing a wedding and was almost done. All my edits were lost.

Luckily I still had the images on the cards I shot them on. Not so luckily, I stupidly never backed up my hard drive.

So I put my raw files on my desktop and went back to all the missing files I had edited (using my last LR backup) and “located“ each photo. (Although I am then changing it to a raw instead of the dng it was). But I had success in that it kept my Lr adjustments.

The trouble im having, is not being able to have any edits come back from taking it to photoshop and then back to Lightroom. It is just daunting thinking about re-Editing the ones I took to PS when I had them the way I wanted.

is there anyway, I can somehow restore the photoshop edit? Because I technically have located the missing file. (Even if I have to individually reopen each of them in photoshop, is there ANYWAY I can have the photoshop edits come through??)

if you‘ve Read this far, thank you. Any help appreciated.

Sad and  despondent in Ohio,

Elizabeth

I fail to see how your question has anything to do with Encore, which is used to author a DVD or BluRay disc

You mention both Photoshop and Lightroom... which forum would be the place for this question to be moved?
