Question

Right-clicking a map pin puts Map in "pan mode"

When you right-click a map pin with two or more photos assigned to it, and then invoke one of the context-menu commands, type Escape, or click somewhere else on the map, the map goes into "pan mode" as if you're holding down the mouse button (you're not). You have to click again to get out of pan mode.

See the attached screen recording.

This happens in LR 11.3.1 on Mac OS 12.3.1 but not on Windows 10. Resetting preferences didn't help.

I have tested this after a fresh reboot (MBP 12.3.1, LrC 11.3.1).

Following the steps in the OP, I still cannot reproduce this behavior.

Note: Using either Mac Magic Mouse and Wacom Tablet's Stylus.

Here's a screen recording from a virgin LR 11.3.1 installation on a virgin Mac OS 12.3.1.  First I right-click the map pin and do Select Photos, which goes into pan mode.  I click to get out of pan mode, then I right-click and type Escape, which again goes into pan mode.
