Save Aspect Ratios in Lightroom Classic

How can I add additional aspect ratios as a saved preset to my crop tool? I’m tired of entering them manually each time and would like to save them for future use.

If you need more than 5 custom ratios, and you don’t want to wait until the next ice age, the Any Crop plugin lets you create named crop presets. It’s not as convenient as having the feature built-in, though.

The bottom of the aspect ratio menu remembers the last few aspect ratios you used, but if you want to make some presets that are persistent, that isn’t possible at the moment (yet).

You’re definitely not the only one who has asked for it, because there’s an existing feature request for it, linked below, and it says it’s open for voting. The number of votes may seem small, but these forums just got migrated to a new system and maybe the vote counts weren’t carried over, I’m not sure. But if there were votes tallied in the old forum system I think they’ve already recorded those.

You will find that the first post in that thread was made 14 years ago, so apparently its priority has not yet bubbled up to the top versus the hundreds of other feature requests that constantly fight for attention and development time.
