Saving from PS reorders LR gallery

In the latest update of LR Classic, saving an edited image from PS to LR reorders the LR gallery in the develop module. The only fix, it seems, is to switch to the library module, select view/sort/(something besides capture time) then switch back to develop.

If I have two thousand images to edit--and I do today--that's not tenable.

It's always been an occasional glitch in the past, but now it's 80% of images. 

If it's not a bug that can be fixed, could we at least get an easy sort function added to the develop module?
