Saving XMP files after every start of LR

Hi I have problem with overpriced LR Classic. After every start as it is on picture, it will write XMP files for a lot of photos for example 100 000. When it is finished it is done. When I close and open LR again, it will start writeing XMP files again and again and again. Why?

Are your photos in a synced folder like Dropbox or Google Drive? I remember having seen a report that this could trigger what you see.
