Question

Scrolling by a large number of photos instead of one.

While in the Library, when selecting photos, if I click the arrow to move to the next photo, sometimes the 'held button' effect appears, and it skips forward by several dozen photos. Of course, the button isn’t actually being held down. I’ve also tested switching photos using other buttons, even those on the mouse. Unfortunately, it's not a keyboard/mouse issue, but rather a Lightroom problem. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I've never experienced this before, and it’s been happening for about a week now.

If it helps, both my mouse and keyboard are from Razer.

I have the latest version of Lightroom Classic.

What happens if you try a different mouse?

I haven't tried another mouse. I have only tried changing images using the keyboard (arrows) as well as the mouse. The same thing happens, i.e. every now and then there is the phenomenon of multiple photos scrolling instead of one. Do you think a mouse from another company than Razer is worth checking out?

I would try another mouse. I think it is a lot more likely that the problem is the mouse (or mouse driver) than that the problem is Lightroom Classic.
