Searching for photos

When I am in the Library Modual and type a word or words in the Text window LR gives not indication that a search has started. There is no "spinning" thing or type of progress bar that gives any indication that a search has started. It's no big deal...eventually either your search is successful or a "no photo found" message or something like that will pop up. I just find it annoying that you have no idea how long the search will take or even if it is indeed searcing.
