second monitor

Hi

I am using lightroom CC yesterday I purchased a viewsonic calibrated monitor hoping to see my photos correctly in soft proofing. I have set the new monitor to the default monitor in windows however lightroom continues to show the pics in the origional Laptop mode with only 59% srgb. When I attempt to select display in second monitor it is grayed out any help would be much appreciated,
