Question

Select Preset, then changes the photo to orange

I'm having trouble with my presets.  I edited about 30 photos, and everything was working fine, and I got most of my work done.  Then all of a sudden whenver I clicked on a preset, I could see it on my picture, but the second I moved my mouse over the photo or away from the selected preset list, it severely altered the image to have an orange tint.  I tried closing Lightroom, restarting my computer, and I'm still having the same problem.  I also tried "Settings" --> "Reset All Settings" and that didn't work either.

PLEASE HELP!

"The pictures were actually taken in RAW + JPG.  Does that make a difference?  Do you still want me to attach a photo?"

This confirms you're experiencing the same bug:

https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom-preset-hover-preview-incorrect-for-incremental-temperature-tint

Your preset has IncrementalTemperature and IncrementalTint settings (the settings for Temp and Tint when editing a non-raw).  The bug occurs when applying such a preset to raws.  The only way I know of avoiding the bug is to define another preset with similar settings while editing a raw rather than a non-raw, and use that preset on raws.

Please add your constructive opinion to the bug report, and be sure to click Me Too and Follow in the upper-right corner. That will make it a little more likely that Adobe will prioritize a fix, and you'll be notified when the bug's status changes.

Interesting, with that preset, I see the problem when editing a raw but not a JPEG.  Can you attach a sample JPEG that shows the problem in your LR? (The current bug report is about raws, but if it can also be demonstrated with a sample JPEG, that would be important to Adobe developers.)

Actually, I apologize. The pictures were actually taken in "RAW + JPG".  Does that make a difference?  Do you still want me to attach a photo?

The only thing that I did "differently" that I can think of is before I imported the pictures from my camera to my computer, I sent a few via the camera wifi bluetooth to my phone through the "Image Edge Mobile" app.

It sounds like you may be tripping over this bug:

https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/lightroom-preset-hover-preview-incorrect-for-incremental-temperature-tint

To see if that's the case:

1. Are the photos raw or non-raw (JPEG or TIFF)?

2. Attach the problem preset's .xmp file here: In the Develop Presets panel, right-click the preset and do Show In Finder/Explorer. Then after posting your reply, click More > Edit Reply at the bottom of the reply. Then click the little paperclip icon in the lower-left corner of the reply box. Then click Apply Edits.

It's not raw.. the pictures are JPEG.  I attatched one of the presets, that is having trouble, but honestly all of them are having trouble.  I even downloaded the updated version 9.1 and that did not fix the problem either.
