Serial number invalid

I'm trying to enter the serial number on Lightroom 6. 

Both the box and the best buy receipt have the same serial number ADB**LRC************.

The letters can not be entered in the serial number field.

Any suggestions?

    I am able to enter the code, but the curser just blinks at me.  Yes, I've tried to change the "O" to zeros and visa versa,  hit enter a few times, and the curser still blinks, like its waiting for me to do something.

    A LR serial number has 24 numerical characters and no letters. Whatever you are entering is not a valid serial number.

    Sounds like you've got a redemption code.
