Since updating Mac OS to 26.6.2 (25G83) Lightroom Classic will not load. The splash screen comes up and then disappears. The app shows as not responding.

As reported above, it simply will not load. I have no access to my library.

The preferences may be corrupted, or the catalog may be corrupted. First try resetting the preferences:

If that doesn’t work, then start Lightroom Classic while holding down the Option key. You will get this dialog:

Click the ‘Create a New Catalog’ button, give the new catalog a name and see if Lightroom Classic starts up with it correctly.
