size of the text area on the book page

I need to build a page of the book with a photograph at the top and the text at the bottom. The text area is too small, can you enlarge it to add more lines of text? Thank you

To me it seems fairly flexible and with experimenting you should be able to have the text as you want it.

First you can select a Page template -eg. one photo & text below-

Then you can add-

1) Photo Text- will print either on the image (the grey area of the template) or extend outside the image, depending on the option- "Align with Photo".

2) Page Text- can be entered in the Text Box ( the area of lines on the template) and it will allow additional lines, and will expand over the image, with [Return/Enter].

My experiments in these screen-clips- (Photo Text in white, Page Text in red)

And if I increase all padding sliders for the image & "align with photo" - the result:
