Sliders cannot be adjusted with keyboard arrows in full screen

I've been struggling the last few days to understand why I can't use my keyboard arrows to adjust my sliders (global and masking sliders). Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't despite restarting the app and my computer itself. My LRC is completely up to date as well. I just noticed though that I can adjust the sliders if my LRC is NOT in full screen.

Latest version of LRC

M2 Mac Mini running Sonoma 14.0

The up- and down-arrows work correctly for me in both full-screen modes, so let's see if we can figure out what provokes the problem for you. (If Adobe can't reproduce the issue easily, they won't pay much attention.)

1. Which full-screen mode causes the problem? The menu command Window > Screen Mode > Full Screen With Menu Bar or Window > Screen Mode > Full Screen?

2. Are you running LR on multiple displays?

3. Try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.

Hi there,

I apologize for just now responding.

1. When manually clicking the green full screen button in the upper left corner of the window, it will not allow me to adjust the sliders. However, I tried your methods above for getting to full screen other than using the green button and those methods allow me to adjust the sliders. It is very odd that it does not work when getting to full screen by clicking the green button!

2. I did recently connect my desktop to a second external monitor but do not use that screen for any LR/editing purposes. I tried disconnecting the second external monitor to see if that would resolve the issue and it did not.

3. I appreciate sharing how to reset the preferences! I think I will hold off for now since the problem appears to be solved when using other methods to enter full screen mode.

Thank you for all of your help!
