Sliders do not slide - Develop Module

App: Lightroom Classic 11.1, Camera Raw 14.1

Platform:  Win 11 Pro - 21H2 build 22000.376

Steps:  1 Editing a photo in Develop module

2 Make any changes; i.e., exposure, tint, temp by grabbing the slider to adjust

3  The slider do not move when using the mouse.  I can point and click to a given position - then the slide jumps to that position.

Tried:  Reset all Lightroom settings, cleared all cache, reinstalled LrCC, updated Graphical Card driver.  The sliders work fine when openning a photo in Camera  Raw via Bridge.  Sliders work fine in Photoshop.

Correct answer Tarun Saini

I just noticed that if I press the Alt Key and then use the mouse to drag the slider - it works fine. Is this "as designed" or is it a local hick up.

Thanks for the information.

Try to uninstall Lightroom Classic through the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and then restart the computer.

Once you restart the computer, try installing Lightroom Classic through the Creative Cloud Desktop Application.

Hi Martin,

We're sorry about the trouble with Lightroom Classic as you're unable to move the sliders using a mouse. Since when have you been seeing this issue? Please ensure that the Use of Graphics Processor option is checked. You can see that option by going to Edit>  Preferences > Performance. If it's not selected then, you may select that option and restart the application to check if that helps.

If the issue persists, try resetting the preferences of Lightroom Classic by: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

Backup your preferences before resetting by: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/preference-file-and-other-file-locations.html

Let us know if that helps.

Regards,

Tarun

Hi,

The Use of Graphic Processor is in "Auto", which I assume is the same as being "checked"

I am sorry I wrote Lightroom settings in my original post - It should have been Lightroom Preferences.  So I have already tried your suggestion. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall the application.  Both to no avail.

I am not sure when the trouble started, but I suspect it was when I upgraded to LrC 11.0 - I have been seeing this for about a week.
