Slideshow music broken

When creating a longer slideshow in Lightroom Classic, I encounter the following problem:

I add my selected music, which is a mix about 30 minutes long.
However, after what seems like a random amount of time,
the music gets interrupted and jumps back to the beginning of the mix.

I'm still dealing with a similar music restarting issue at randow but repeatable locations in the music track and it's July 18, 2025 already. How long do bug fixes normally take? This one is really irritating because the only suitable workaround has been Premiere Pro which is overkill for what I am doing.

I have the same problem with the music in the presentation: I choose the mp3 file and choose the length of the slides and fades, then export the video, but I find that after about a minute of playback the music stops and starts again from the beginning. Then everything continues normally. The problem returns the same with different slideshows and with different music tracks. This is an example: https://youtu.be/PY3msvlLh4s

I am having the same problem.  I have tried different music and different lenghts of music and slides but to no avail. I also find Lightroom gets the track time wrong and i end up with silence at the end of the slideshow or the music gets cut off too early.  These probles have only occurred in the last few weeks - possibly after the last upgrade?

I am having the same issue. The music file plays for about 8 minutes, jumps back to the start, plays again and then continues where it left off. It then ends at the end of the music file time, but doesn't play the last 8 or so minutes (as those minutes were used in the repeat).

Hi - I have tried disabling the GPU and removing the Video cache limit after purging the cache and the other cache then restarting LR - I have had more success with the odd render jumping back but repeating the cache purge and restarting LR seems the rectify the problem - untill the next time anyway.
