Hi,

I use Lightroom for editing wedding photos, and the last version that works on my mac mini m4 is 14.2 Every version after that is laggy and slow.
I just updated to 15.1 and in develope mode when I push the right arrow to go to the next photo it will just stay on the curent photo, it will stay frozen like that so I would have to go back and forward to make it work again. I have smart previews switched on since with switched off its even slower.

Hi @Vasilije Bajilov, welcome to the community!
Could you share a few more details about what you’re seeing? If you create a brand-new catalog, do you notice the same slowness, or is it only happening with your current one?
Here’s a handy guide that might help improve Lightroom Classic performance:

Let us know how it goes!

Hi Aleke,
Thank you so much for responding.
To respond to your questions with a question is rude and I dont wan to be, but honestly I only make a catalog when I first install Lr and after that I only use one for like 40 weddings with up to 2000photos per wedding. Why should I make new catalog? If I switch back to 14.2 it starts working again as it should, if I update the app it starts doing things like I mentioned. So why should I make new catalog, why is this not working in one or numerous versions and working just fine in 14.2. Its not due to hardver its the last apple silicon M4, I didint change anything and I dont have time to play aroud due to huge workflow. So this might be just a remark for future updates and I will go and make a new catalog and hope it will help.

I will let you know if it helps and thank you again for taking time to respond
