What are the Smart Collections in LR Classic put there by Adobe such as 'No Keywords"  with all of my photos in there? I did not create that collection. Can I delete without losing my photos? There are other ones as well with less images. Would like to delete them as well.

Yes, you can delete a smart caollection (any collection) without fear of deleting your photos. You simply select the smart collection to be removed then click on the '-' button at the top right corner of Collection panel. Alternatively, you can right-mouse-click on the smart collection, then choose Delete from the context menu.

These are Adobe supplied samples for smart collections.

If you see all your photos in "No Keywords", that simply means as it says: You have not given any keywords to your photos.

You can delete them as you like. A collection simply is a "view", it never touches any of your photo.
