Snapshots hotkey is modal to mask dialog

That bug has bugged me for over a year now and it's so obvious that I thought someone would surelly fix it but I guess I'm the only one who uses both snapshots and masks in the world.
 
When you press ctrl+N to take a new snapshot if you are on masking you also get a new mask as a gift.

Normally, Ctrl N invokes New Snapshot and N creates a new instance of the currently selected mask. I just verified in my LR 13.2 / Windows 11. So there's something about your LR configuration that's screwed up.

1. Do Help > System Info. Which exact version of LR are you running?

2. Try resetting LR's preferences:

LR sometimes soils its preferences file, and resetting it can fix all sorts of wonky behavior. That article explains how to restore the old preferences if resetting doesn't help.
