Software that really removes duplicates in Windows

'Generally'- Nothing will remove duplicate files automatically. YOU have to identify and remove them.

But if you use the Lightroom catalog (with ALL your photo files imported) then there are plugins that will 'identify' duplicates for you to remove.

The "Teekesselchen" plugin for Lightroom is free and effective in identifying duplicates using options to find files based on selected criteria.

If you are talking about images, consider : ThumbsPlus.com: The Home of ThumbsPlus

Note this is not a LR plug-in, and after you use it, you will need to remove any resultant lost images from your catalog.

I have not used it for years.

RAW support limited if at all available and apparently for a premium price. Not at all sure what RAW files it might handle. Primarily for raster images.

Without any informations what you expect from the software it's very hard to say anything.
