Sony A7lll raw into Lightroom Classic (NOT CLOUD)!!!!!!!!!!!!

What version Lightroom for the desktop will read Sony ARW files. I have re-installed version 7.3 version 7..3.1 version 7.4 and no arw file shows up. I do not want to go they several steps like with a DNG converter.

Hi Don,

Sorry that you cannot import Sony A7lll files into Lightroom Classic CC 7.3.1 and 7.4.

The Sony A7lll .ARW files are supported in Lightroom Classic CC(version 7.3 and above) and the application should be able to import them.

Are you getting any specific error message? Also, have you used the Camera software to convert/process the images before importing them into Lightroom? Please update to the latest version of Lightroom Classic CC 7.5 from the Creative Cloud desktop app and let us know if you're able to import the images?

That Sony model has been supported since Lightroom Classic CC 7.3. If you have installed that version or any subsequent version then you should have support for the ARW files from that camera model.

I do not have a Sony camera but this web page will show you which Sony cameras can be used with any of the iterations of Lightroom

Scroll down a tad and then under Supported Camera Models, select Sony and your answers will show up there.

When you try to open it directly, and from Adobe Bridge?, does not work? What happens? Any message?
