Sorry, an error has occurred??

Hi all, 

I'm at a loss as this has never happened. I keep getting a "Sorry, an error occurred" message whenever I open lightroom. I'm on a deadline and can't seem to get it to work. I uninstalled and re-installed. And it is the latest version from what I can tell. Anyone else having this issue?? any tips?

This could mean your catalog is corrupted. Try restoring a recent backup copy of LrC and open that backup.

Hey, @kristiealex. Welcome to Lightroom Classic Community. I'll help you figure this out.

 

What version of Windows are you working on? Has this happened since a recent update? Please include the screenshot of this error window. Does it have an error code like 205? 

As a basic troubleshooting step, reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/4czwc5z
