Sorting pictures, taken by multiple cameras purely on timestamp, after import in one library ?

Question

How can I sort pictures imported in same library but taken with different cameras (for instance when you shoot a sports game alternating between two cameras with different lenses) on timestamp when picture was actually taken, to keep the pictures in chronologic order, but I don't know how to do that... They sort chronologically now, but also sort themselves on name given by camera -which is totally irrelevant at this stage.

Any help appreciated...

"They sort chronologically now,"- Doesn't that answer your own question?Setting the Sort Order to 'Capture Time' is the obvious answer.   Often encountered is the problem that cameras are set to a different Time/Date so you get a false chronologic order. This can be corrected by finding the time difference between two photos (one from each camera) you know to be taken at the same time, then altering the time stamp of all the photos from one camera by the difference. When you achieve a correct chronological order in Grid view, a rename using a Sequence number prefix will then make the Sort also as Alphabetic (Sort by Filename).
