Sound problems importing video into Lightroom from Aperture

I'm moving from Aperture to Lightroom. I do not like how the LR import plugin for Aperture organizes content so I have exported content in batches and imported to LR. This is working fine for photos that I export as Original from Aperture and import into LR. I'm having problems with videos, most of which are .mov, .avi, and .mp4. Randomly as best I can tell, some video imported with sound and others did not. Even videos taken from the same original source/device. The problem seems most pronounced with .mov files, but many play sound fine so it doesn't seem like a missing codec... hard to imagine something as generic as .mov being a problem. Why are these videos without sound?

    Hi jmorg,

We're really sorry for all the hassle. Could you please export the video files again from the Aperture library from those you are missing sound in Lightroom. Once you export the .mov files, play it outside Lightroom and check if the sound is there or not then import the video files in Lightroom.

Also, please let us know the exact version of Lightroom you are using now?

    Regards,

    Mohit
